Croc Master was another of my favorite GI Joe figures from the original line. When I was a kid, I would always play with Croc Master and Zartan, my two favs. So again, when I heard they were making a new Croc Master in the 25th Anniversary line, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it.

Once again, disappointment.

This wasn't the Croc Master I remembered. This figure was painted pretty plain, and drab. And don't even get me started on Hasbro's cop out with the "baby" croc they included. Give me a break! This is Croc MASTER, not Croc Babysitter!!

So again, I broke out the paints, and got to work. A base coat of black, followed by two drybrush coats of different shades of green worked like magic. Now, onto that baby croc...

I was walking through Target, and in the aisle with the educational toys, they have a selection of hard plastic animals. What do I see there? A nice, large, crocodile. I grabbed one, and hurried home. While trying to figure out what I was going to do for the harness for my new beast, since the one that Hasbro included with the baby wouldn't come near fitting this beast, I had an idea. I grabbed a Massiff beast from the Star Wars line, and removed the harness. Placed it on the croc, and it fit perfectly! It looks a lot nicer, and even has a real chain.
