SO YOU WANT ME TO MAKE YOU A FIGURE?

Interested in having your favorite Star Wars, GI Joe, Video Game, Marvel Hero (or just about any character you can think of?) created in an action figure form? Well, you're in luck - I am currently taking on new customers for custom commission work to create action figures, vehicles, and playsets according to your exact specs. If you've ever wanted that Wolverine with real metal claws, or a Luke with a lightsaber than can actually hang from a real metal ring on his belt, or Cobra soldiers that have weapons that can sling on their backs, you've come to the right place.

Here's basically how it works:
1. Contact me and let me know what you're interested in having made. Please send as much information as you possibly can. I may also ask for some picture reference materials.
2. I'll get back to you as soon as I can, we'll work out all the details, and I'll set a price (prices will vary from figure to figure depending on plenty of factors, described below).
3. Send your payment (in full) via paypal.
4. I will keep in touch with you all the way during the process of making your figure. I will send email updates with pictures (if requested, some people would rather just be surprised when it arrives).
5. When your item is completed, I will contact you and let you know your item will ship to you soon.
About Pricing: I base the prices for my custom figure work on several factors. I have to take into consideration what materials I need to use, which can include the base figure or figures and any parts that may be needed. Sometimes I may need to use 4 or 5 different figures, sometimes more. One figure that I made contained parts from 13 different action figures. The price also includes any 'raw' materials that will be used, such as paint (I only use high quality paints like Reaper, Vallejo, Tamiya and Citadel) or sculpting medium (the only sculpting material I use nowadays is Aves' Fixit Sculpt). Then, of course, is the labor - my time that I will spend on the actual creation of your figure. Figures that require custom sculpting or fabrication of parts will be more labor intensive, and therefore cost more. Figures that are mainly just part swaps and paint work will be less expensive.

I can't really give a real 'average' price, since every figure is different, but the closest I can get would be this - the breakdown that I use to generate a price for each figure:

I start with a $20 base price - that includes all base figures that are needed to assemble the figure, along with any materials that I need to use - paint, clay, tools, etc. as well as the time it will take to disassemble all the required figures and re-assemble them into the figure I am making, as I rarely just take an existing figure and re-paint it. Then I add $10 per hour for the work that I feel needs to be done and how long I feel it will take me. I generally take anywhere from 4 - 6 hours to work on each figure, outside of simple repaints and such. So I guess you can say that the "average" price for a figure that I create is around $75. But again, this varies from project to project. A figure that requires custom sculpting or fabricaton can require 10 - 12 hours or more or work.

In some cases, a figure needed for the base or a part may be expensive to acquire. Unfortunately this will also increase the amount that the final project will end up costing.

In the case of 12" vehicles, statues, minibusts, vehicles or other items, a price will be worked up depending on what work will be done.

The price may seem a little high, but after you recieve your figure I'm sure you'll find my prices reasonable for the quality of work that I do.
